Employees can go to the Click and Give web page on the MINE site at secgc.mt.gov during the campaign and make your gift electronically. When using Click and Give, donors have the choice of electing for payroll contributions, and/or using credit cards, debit cards and even electronic checks.

You may also use the paper copy Pledge Form below and turn it in to their office volunteer. See link below for Pledge Form Instructions

Alison Munson has been selected by the Advisory Council to act as Campaign Facilitator. Functions of the Facilitator include: development of communication materials, coordination of training programs, management of Department Coordinators and supporting the effort of hundreds of volunteers throughout the state who make this drive possible.

Each non-profit organization/charity has a four digit number found in Giving Guide description and in the index. You may also find these easily online at Click and Give. You may designate your contribution to as many organizations as you choose. You may also designate your gift to a federation (groups of nonprofits such as United Way, Montana Shares and Earth Share), or even leave your gift undesignated. In the case of an undesignated gift, the donation is allocated in the same proportion as all designated contributions. For example, if a non-profit receives 1.2% of the designated gifts in the Campaign, it will receive 1.2% of the undesignated dollars.

Payroll Deduction

As in previous years, your contribution can be made through easy payroll deduction. This allows you to have your gift withheld from your paycheck each pay period, beginning the first pay period of January 2017. The minimum gift for payroll deduction is $1 per pay period. Please note your payroll deduction is in effect through the last pay period of 2017. Use Click and Give or the pledge form to designate your payroll deduction.

Informed Giving

SECGC promotes informed giving and charitable integrity. State employees are entitled to accurate information about the charitable organizations that seek their support. Charitable organizations approved to participate in the SECGC campaigns are pre-screened, high-quality nonprofit organizations.

Designations

You have the option of designating all or a portion of your contribution to one or more charitable agencies. If you do not wish to designate your gift it will be distributed to each organization based on their overall percentage of designated gifts. All gifts will be forwarded as specified by you after a deduction for administrative costs. In the event the organization you designate to is not a part of the SECGC, or if your designation is incomplete or illegible, we will make every reasonable effort to contact you. If we are unable to reach you, your gift will be distributed among participating organization.

Voluntary Participation

Your participation in this campaign is completely voluntary. If you feel that you have been unduly pressured or coerced to participate in this campaign, please contact the Campaign Helplines (406) 442-2265 for assistance.
