When will the upgrade happen?
SABHRS HR is upgrading from version 8.9 to version 9.1 on May 31, 2011. We've deemed this date the least disruptive for HR and payroll areas across the state. The new version includes some improvements to the HR system.
Why is the state upgrading to SABHRS HR 9.1?
PeopleSoft, our vendor, is no longer supporting the 8.9 version. We must upgrade to version 9.1 to continue to receive support, including new releases and patches, from PeopleSoft. Upgrading also provides access to new functionality, and keeps the state compliant with federal regulations.
What is different?
The overall look and feel of SABHRS HR has changed in 9.1. Easier navigation is one of the main differences. The new version also provides managers more options when it comes to approving employee time.
Will any of these changes affect me?
Since the new functionality will change how time is approved in SABHRS, it will affect both employees and supervisors who use SABHRS self-service for time-entry.
What kind of training is available?
Live and webinar demo sessions, hands-on labs, and online videos are available for employees and supervisors:
