Compensation
How is my pay determined?
Most executive branch employees are classified in the Broadband Pay Plan which consists of a single job evaluation factor. Pay for positions in this pay plan is determined by the occupation and market salary surveys. Typically, pay for an employee new to state government will be set between the occupational pay range of minimum and market depending on experience and qualifications. Your agency's Human Resource Office or the Human Resources Policy and Programs Bureau can answer any questions you might have.
